O.E.S.Club of Scotland Open Show 17th August 2008. Before writing down my critics, I would like to say a big thank you to the committee members of the Scottish O.E.S. Club for inviting me to judge the Open Show, and also a big thank you to Lew and Margaret McWilliam for their wonderful hospitality. I also want to thank all the exhibitors that gave me the possibility to judge their dogs, and their sportsmanship during the whole day. Thank You. What I loved to see were the dark eyes with lots of pigmentation, topline and good coats, not too much trimming as in most countries. The real Old English Sheepdogs as I like to see them as working dogs. I was slightly disappointed about the movement of most of the dogs, narrow behind and some crabbing. Also the teeth need more attention; I saw some narrow (undershot) under jaws with very small teeth. I also would like to make my compliments to the owners of the veteran dog class, they all were in a wonderful condition and the oldies of 11 years moved so wonderful that I was fully surprised.
